Showing haute dogs with relish…
Today we have some video on a canine fashion show in Japan, in which there is some discussion of who was the first to dress up their dogs. I am not making this up.
This guy concedes that “Paris Hilton… started the trend again,” but adds that “Japan was one of the first countries in the world that started with dog clothing.”
Dude! You feel free to debate this one all you want. If you want to give the glory to Paris, fine, and if the Japanese want to claim it, that’s okay, too. I’ll just go home and enjoy my dogs, who would eat my face if I tried dressing them up like this. Daragh Burke reports:
Meanwhile, for more information and opinions on the topic, have a look at this slideshow and at our blog posts headlined If looks could kill, Just don’t even ask, and The photo they didn’t want us to see….

If I had a dog like that, I would have to dress it in a burlap swimming suit with terra cotta lining.
Don’t be a hater.
She bought her dog a fur coat? Isn’t that somewhat redundant?
“Dressing for your dog” has an entirely different meaning in some other Asian countries …
Bearing in mind John’s last comment i did actually misread the thread title when i first saw it as ‘Saute Dogs With Relish’.
