I swear, that is not my ex-wife. I mean, how could I get her to Mars? Heh, heh. Er, that is, I know her favorite color is green and she disappeared 2.9 billion miles ag… seven years ago, but hey, how could I ever have done it? It’s not like I have invented a secret Star Trek teleporter or something. That would just be ridiculous. Wouldn’t it? Or a successful ion drive or rail gun powered using hyper cold coils and a long, slow, unnoticeable trickle of power from the electric company to charge a bank of capacitors, with vacuum produced through a hole in the atmosphere using a laser to heat the air so it evacuates a ‘hot rarified air tunnel’ through which the ex-wifejectile would be flung with little or no wind resistance. It could not be done. Really. It is purely a coincidence, and she is NOT pointing accusingly at me.

I say balmy because with the wind chill it’s -45C where I live right now, and I have to go shovel the sidewalk.
