It is women who pressure other women to torture themselves this way. The old joke about how to impress a man - show up naked - is sooooo true. We don't want you to be emaciated, layered in makeup, spending hours getting your hair curled/straightened/dreadlocked/etc, do without paying the rent so you can have that designer handbag which costs more than a small car. Just smile and be you. Note to womankind: when you see those before and after photos in adverts/commercials to sell shampoo, clothes, makeup, diets, etc ... most men prefer the before!!
