Quick quiz: your kids are pestering you for the so-called “day of fun” you promised them a couple of years ago when you were half-asleep.
A really good place to take them just to shut them up would be…
- Walt Disney World
- Colonial Williamsburg
- The White House
- Lethal Weapons Play Day at a military base
Yeah, I was surprised by that last option, too, until I saw our pictures of small children playing with assault rifles, grenade launchers and I don’t know, maybe even nuclear warheads. It’s anybody’s guess what they sell at the souvenir shop.

…way to encourage school shootings, China.
- Posted by KYes! Teach them to kill early - and often! You know, maybe kindergartens should consider having Lethal Weapons Days, since Halloween is considered evil now. Why dress up as the Grim Reaper, when you can learn how to BE one?
- Posted by Fortunaleei think it is a great idea. not only do kids LOVE guns. they´re are pretty cool after all. but it i think it is always worthwhile teaching a child how to defend themselves with heavy automatic weapons. never know when you might need those kind of skills, especially in todays world. Since my son turned 4 years of age i have been taking him shooting him with a pellet gun. he is now 6 and can handle a 12gage shotgun with capable hands, he´s a good shot too.
- Posted by john lloydI shot my first rifle before age 10. 36 years later, I have yet to shoot my first person. On the flip side, I have never had anybody try and shoot me. Should I take a few moments break and ponder the why of it?
Teach children to respect guns early, whether they handle the real thigs or not. Teach them to be responsible early. Otherwise, you end up with school shootings and kids who do not comprehend, let alone possess, self control.

- Posted by Shawn HendricksHave you ever seen a kid on a decomissioned army tank? Inside an Army Blackhawk or Apache? The joy in their eyes is like nothing Playstation VI could ever begin to produce.
