Who the Dickens is that candidate?

Hello, Blog Guy - Like many voters, I base my decision almost entirely on how good the candidates are at acting out scenes from classic literature. So far this political season, I have to say I’ve been very disappointed.

Frankly, I don’t know where you’ve been looking! I’ve seen a wealth of good dramatizations during the primaries, most recently Barack Obama’s poignant version of “Oliver Twist,” shown here.

Who could forget it? Bumble bellows to young Oliver, ”Orphans can’t have more gruel!” only to have Obama shout defiantly, “Yes, we can!”

Little did Obama know that the cafeteria lady who slopped his ice-cream-scoop-shaped mashed potatoes onto his plate was really a………….REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!

Candidates spend a significant part of their campaigning time going from community hall to community hall, eating night after night of rubber chicken, oily lasagna, and overdone sausages.

You could say it’s the breast of times, it’s the wurst of times.

Where is Mrs. Clinton…Mr. McCain?

Mr. Bush would be a much better subject for this, hands down.

It’s actually a really great shot of Obama. He looks amazing!

And he will be given a second helping of whatever.

You can have some more votes, the the nomination AND the presidency if you ask nicely.

Good boy Obama! ;-)
