Blog Guy, which is faster - a race car or a gopher?
It’s hard to say. The gopher could be speeding along and suddenly get carried off by a huge condor.
Let’s say there isn’t a condor. Then who’s faster?
Okay. I set up a speed test in Montreal, because gopher racing is illegal in the U.S. When my assistant sent me these photos, the two were neck-and-neck.
Wow! Then who won?
I don’t know. My assistant suddenly got carried away by a huge condor.
Oh well, things happen. Say, isn’t Montreal where they use brassieres as flags?
Yes. Sadly, those bras are flying at half-staff for my assistant today.

Hmm… oil’s at $138 a barrel. Have we been overlooking another biofuel alternative?
- Posted by John "Bandage" FradeOK, so dogs chase cars and gophers chase racecars. Or maybe the gopher has a death wish and wants to end it all? Maybe all is not wonderful in gopher world?
They ought to paint a sign and put it on the racetrack saying “Gopher Broke!” maybe it would inspire the gopher. If someone read it to him…
