Yes, you can see it now, in Peru. This new version uses the classic Nutcracker, but portrays the children as pupils at a military academy. It also features the seldom-performed boxing dog scene.

I’m visualizing a Rube Goldberg machine consisting of the dog punching the guy with the whit gloves, him doubling over to knock into the top of the kid’s head, and the kid reflexively firing off a shot to celebrate independence day…. Well that’s about the only thing missing isn’t it?
