Blog Guy, I’m shopping for a laptop. I know you’re really up on technology, so what should I be looking for?
Well, the model is VERY important.
Uh, sure, you mean like ThinkPad T61 vs. the PowerBook or whatever?
No, I mean the chick model they use to show off the laptop! For instance, I like this new model shown today with the skimpy halter top and bare midriff. Plenty to look at there.
But…I thought there was lots of other stuff I had to know about, like RAM and processing speed and everything.
Nah, that’s for geeks. Believe me, I’m still plenty happy with my …. wait, what is this gizmo, anyway? Yeah, my trusty Tandy TRS-80. Just get yourself one of those.

You mean to tell me there is more to buying gadgets than the anorexic sixteen year old models they use?
Boo. Besides, I know why they used models to sell the computers. Models are sexy, and lets face it:
In this corrupt world, sex sells.
I don’t know if my hard-drive will fit in that, but it looks goood to me anyhow!

I can understand this, just like I go to the fights just to watch the ring girl carry around those cards with the round number on them, who cares who is actually fighting.
sad but true lol i bought my laptop cause the guy i bought it from had his gf holding it up in just the right position to obfuscate the features lol
when will they invent a laptop without a top? what model will that be?
I believe that was the tablet pc lol
much maligned but actualy more utilitarian than the market will hold currently
