So ghosts have no insurance, Joe?

Blog Guy, Barack Obama seems to have created a monster with this Joe the Plumber guy. Is there a danger of that happening again?

I’m afraid so. Obama tries to engage as many voters as possible on the trail, but he’s often too vain to wear his glasses.

As you can see from today’s photos, Obama will show up tomorrow with anecdotes about “Joe the Ghost” and “Joe the Scarecrow.”

Of course, some have a more jaded view, saying Obama’s plan is to publish a series of children’s books about his characters, who will already be famous.

There are rumors that he’s hard at work on “Joe the Weekend TV Weather Girl” and “Joe the Busboy at the Thai Restaurant.” Just hope he doesn’t meet a proctologist before Tuesday.

Are you kidding? Joe the Plumber is McCain’s last minute election gimmick. McCain has also created Tito the Builder, Lisa the Teacher, and Jerry the Nutjob. My guess: he’s planning a new Fox News show called McCain ‘n’ Pals.

This article is not news, it smacks of a thinly veiled political campaign… with the wrong facts.

The most interesting thing about politics to me is how Differently! people can view the Same! scene, depending on which side of the fence they’re on. :)

Lets be clear about something. Joe the Plumber approached Barack on the street along with 100’s of other neighbors and it was John McCain that brought him up during the debate. So I’d like someone for once to acknowledge that it was not Barack’s fault this moron stumbled onto the scene. lol.

I though McCain was throwing his support behind Joe the Plumber’s write in candidacy.

Wow, some of you “Commenting hacks” need to educate yourselves. First of all the man asked a question and exposed barak’s socialistic tendancies and wealth redistribution (aka welfare/handouts to unemployed people). Joe called him on it, and I for one am glad. Unemployment is about 5% tops (national avg) so you people as well as Barak want to rob 95% of wage earners to take care of 5% of the population. GREAT IDEA FELLAS.

I hope some of you just don’t vote. Because you simply don’t have the education to understand the dynamics of the candidates.

Commenting hacks, eh? No education? The unemployment rate in the US in September was 6.1% I live in Michigan, where it’s almost 9%. In addition, didn’t it turn out that Joe the Plumber isn’t even a licensed plumber and owes $1200 in back taxes? Boy, I wish I didn’t have to pay my taxes. Barack wants to rob 95% of the wage earners to help 5%? Do you make more than $250,000? I wasn’t aware that 95% of the people in the US make that much. I will gladly pay my taxes to help out the huge deficit we have and to make sure that my neighbors do not lose their homes, are able to afford health care, and to put food on their table. I only hope that some day, if I needed it, my neighbors would help me do the same.

In most calculator’s I’ve run my income through to check It’s significantly lower than 250k for those at just above 100k McCain has a better tax plan.

All you’re doing is spouting rhetoric and not doing any of us a favor. Check out several different sites and actually compare the plans. You’re 250k will be significantly reduced. A few of the calculators I’ve seen do indeed show Obama’s plan better for me for a year or two, but then by 2011 McCain’s plan does better while Obama’s gets worse.

Poor Joe. As I indicated in an earlier post, I live close to the Village where Joe lives. He has been absolutely crucified in the local press, only a fraction of which appears above. I won’t repeat it here. I will say, though, that the word on the street is that Joe did not approach BO; BO went into Joe’s yard and asked him if he had any questions.

Joe is certainly milking this for all it’s worth. Well, plumbers will do that. Not too long ago I needed a plumber. The job took him 15 minutes, and he charged me $100.00. I said: “That’s $400.00 an hour. I’m a lawyer, and I don’t make that much.” The plumber said: “Yea, I know. I didn’t make this much when I was a lawyer either.”

Hey, I’m just trying to start a new wave of jokes, to move away from lawyer jokes. (The problem with lawyer jokes is, lawyers don’t think they’re funny, and no one else thinks they’re jokes!) TGIF, everyone! Have a great Halloween and weekend. Perhaps costume yourself as a 401k statement tonight. (That’s a joke from my son.)

Well, you Zerobama zealots better realize you are voting for Joseph Stalin! People will disappear in the night if Zerobama gets elected.

@ Dr Doll

A 401k statement … now that is something scary! Hollywood really should do a new wave of movies: It Came From Wall Street, The 401K Reaper, Night of the Dying IRA.
