Good job on the lipstick, Zippy!

Okay, fashion design staff, today’s the big show. Now remember, we got these models to sign some pretty specific release forms, so let’s make sure we do this right.

All of them agreed we could have a poorly-trained chimpanzee put their lipstick on, right? Good. That’ll save us some money.

Herb, which models said it was okay for us to put plastic trash bags, driftwood and shrink-wrapped beer cans on their heads? Okay, fine.

Janine, didn’t one of them say she’d wear a big old hubcap? Perfect. And where’s that one who said we could put a bird cage on her head and shoot electric sparks through her face? Cool.

Alright, now for the biggie. Bring me the one that said we could glue a real alpaca face over her own. Lock the doors, boys!

Sleep better! Join the Oddly Enough blog network!

I’ve seen other photos of this show-the clothing was hideous and the poor models looked like slasher-flick clowns. The huge red lips looked rather frightening, as well.

Ahhh…slow down my beating heart! I think that I am in love!

Oops! That was just a tad bit of heart burn.

Nothing to see here, folks! Move along!

And quit making fun of alpacas, my friend. They have feelings, too!

Good thing the Alpaca doesn’t have lipstick on the PETA people may get upset.

Oh my. They really are stretching for something new, aren’t they? You know, I understand that the stuff on the runway really isn’t what they’re selling, but more of a zeitgeist for the designer’s overall sensibility and style. “Clients” take bits and pieces from the show and have stuff designed specifically for them. The people that can afford haute couture don’t want to be seen in something a MODEL has already worn before them; it needs to be one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen. But really, do they WANT to look like a garbage dump? If so, hand ME $60,000; I’ve haven’t taken out the morning trash, I’ve got a fresh roll of duct tape, and there’s a red Sharpie that will put that lipstick to SHAME!

i don’t normally comment on the fashion stories but WTF is that a carrier bag on her head!!?? don’t they come with warnings printed on them ” caution of suffocation” in this case the designer should put it over his head!
