Quick quiz: if you feel tired at work and you need to catch a few winks, a good place to do it is…
a) a cot in the office.
b) the back seat of your car.
c) the barstool at your watering hole
d) a railroad track, on April Fool’s Day.
Unfortunately, this guy chose d).
I imagine his buddies in the work crew said something like, “Lonnie, you’re lookin’ kind of sleepy. Go on, close your eyes. Those tracks are real comfy, and the 12:06 to Shanghai is always late.”

Mr Bob,
Those tracks don’t look as if they have seen a train in a while…rusted surface, unused, etc.
But I did live about a hundred feet from some rr tracks a couple of decades ago.
Getting sleep with trains roaring by was hard to do.
On the nearby tracks, I suppose a lot of choo choos chug on by. How this guy can catch 40 winks is something to be admired.
- Posted by timI’ve got a new desktop image.
- Posted by Seanyou’d think the tracks would be very uncomfortable…
but he doesn’t seem to be losing any sleep over it…
- Posted by stevenor this is just a guy kidding around and is not actual sleeping.
- Posted by GregWow, that’s incredible. One, he’s sleeping on huge gravel stones. That’s gotta hurt. Two, his head is resting on rusted iron, which you can’t tell me doesn’t smell something awful.
I’m amazed.
- Posted by AshtonHey, thanks for sharing that with us, Ashton.
- Posted by Robert BaslerOK people it was on April 1st do you really think this is real?!?
Remember just because it’s on the Internet doesn’t mean it’s true.
- Posted by JohnnyThat image has been rotated 90 degrees, you gullible idiots! He’s actually walking along the side of a building with his eyes closed.
