Why did the singer cross the road?

Dear Mr. Blog Guy: On Monday you had an item about an Asian band that paid homage to The Beatles’ iconic Abbey Road album cover.

Well, I want to tell you about the Canadian band I represent. They’re taking the original Abbey Road  cover in a different direction.

Different direction? Like jazz or gospel?

They’re crossing the street going left, instead of right. Like I said, a different direction. Look at the photo below.

I get it. And the name of your group?

Canadian Chicks in Colourful Raincoats.

Very catchy.

The one in blue is the singer/songwriter. She’s just finishing a song about getting locked out of the recording studio last week.

No way! Then how did she get back in?

She came in through the bathroom window.

Wow. I look forward to hearing that one.

Hah. Hey, it’s not my fault suddenly everybody is trying to copy that album cover. I just call ‘em as I see ‘em.

Personally, I would like to see someone artfully ape the White Album.
