Another chick with huge mugs…

August 25, 2009

Blog Guy, if it’s August, it’s just about Oktoberfest over there in Germany. Isn’t this about the time they show some cute chick with those huge – watcha-call ‘ems?

They call those big things mugs.

Mugs? Yeah, I guess so. I never heard that euphemism before. So tell us about Oktoberfest.

They say it’s the “world’s biggest beer festival,” which I guess means they’ve never been to the Indianapolis 500.

Anyway, folks start drinking the beer in September, and then wake up to find out it’s October already.

Your grasp of international culture is impressive. What does that ”Hacker-Pschorr Himmel Der Bayern” banner mean?

I believe it translates to, “Yeah, my calves are kind of large, learn to live with it.”

Those look quite heavy! She definitely needs a hand carrying them.

I imagine the beer steins are heavy as well.

While I’ve never been to Oktoberfest in Germany, I have been to the Indy 500 multiple times. From Oktoberfest events here in the States I’d say that the Indy 500 (all three weeks of festivities) might be bigger, but the beer at Oktoberfest would probably be better. There are too many folks here drinking things like Old Milwaukee & Pabst Blue Ribbon.

And worse…

No. What it means is that the fizzy yellow stuff served at the Indy 500, isn’t beer….. It’s just fizzy yellow stuff. They serve real beer (and ale) at Oktoberfest

How much do you want to bet that I can shoot both mugs and knock that chick off the rail in less than 10 seconds with my BB gun, Bob?

K, just fyi, an 8-gauge shotgun is not called a BB gun…. Put it away, you’re not fooling anybody.

She has nice mugs and those things she’s holding in her hands are nice too!

Pshhhh. My mugs are better than her mugs.

@K: as soon as you knock off one of the mugs weight balance is dramatically offset and she should topple over unaided, so 10 seconds is not as big a deal as you make it sound.

OH, and there IS that thing about the caliber…

Munich wins hands down. Lived and worked in Indy for years and yes I had a beer or two at the 500. Now here is
the thing that makes the difference between the two beer
parties. In Munich the beer is sold by the ‘MAS’. That is about a quart size mug. No wimpy 12 or 16 oz. containers there. Plus the girls in the Bayern style dresses make you free like you are in Himmel (heaven).
Now I need to see if my Lederhosen are ready for my next
visit to Munich.

Did Little Miss Random provide a photo?

Give up on translating German, Bob. Try getting the Wurst Girl and this one together for a joint photo-op!

OK Little Miss Random. Asked and answered.
Not so little, certainly random.

Bravo, Germany, for actually having normal-sized models.
