Looking in on our coverage of a big motor show in Germany, I see something called the “Gunbus,” described as “the biggest motorcycle in the world.”
How big is it? It’s over 11 feet long, which means it would be sort of like enjoying the freedom of the open road in a stretch limo without the body attached.
What sheer marketing genius, to take the most fabled, romantic, iconically independent travel machine in history, and introduce the word “bus” to the name!
It’s like running into the dudes from “Easy Rider” waiting for a Greyhound.
Just imagine. When you stop at a biker hangout and the other guys are looking for somebody to beat up, who do you think is going to attract their attention?
They’re going to be like, ”Hey, look at the dork with low self-esteem whose bike has a guest bedroom attached! Let’s beat the crap out of him!”

Good grief BG, I was almost afraid to click on this one, but I thought maybe you had put in a typo, and it couldn’t really be what you meant. Then I remembered all those Chinese Army induction photos you have blogged about, and I got really scared.In the end, I took a shot of liquid courage and clicked, and it’s about a cute girl on a mutant motorcycle. If I buy the bike, is she included?

The size of the ‘Gunbus’ doesn’t matter, it’s how you ride it.
Maybe she’s just a really hot, in proportion, midget.
Sure, LMR. But then again, maybe she’s a 7-foot-tall Amazon goddess, and the motorcycle is really even LARGER than you think…
Only someone with severe identity crisis would need something that large between their legs.
Tut tut, Basler! I was expecting more nude pics… but I like bikes… but this one is just too huge…
As much as you guys want to laugh I remember when a 650cc motorcycle was mid-class and anything over 1000cc was strictly poser territory to be laughed at. No more… regular bikes cruise around with engines bigger than cars. Based on history the Gunbus will be a mid capacity bike by 2050 (and people wonder why we are running out of oil…tsk).
It is a burden, LMR.
