Oddly Enough Blog

News, but not the serious kind

Now, a blog for the extremely unpopular!

December 10, 2009

Dearest Readers,

Now that my Facebook blog network has more than 5,000 members and I’m measuring page views in the millions, it’s time to look for future growth opportunities.

demographic combo 500

Our marketing folks have asked me to come up with new audiences to target, and we’re interested in your suggestions.

Here are some ideas we’ve already come up with.

  1. Cats: While my blog doesn’t appeal to dogs, many cats seem to enjoy visual humor and wordplay. We are working with a feline focus group now
  2. People under house arrest: We’ve posted my URL on a billboard outside Roman Polanski’s Swiss chalet. Next time he looks out, he’ll see it.
  3. Belgians: They appear to fear corn. Can we use this to our advantage?
  4. Extremely unpopular people: Dear Mr. Madoff, instead of going out into the prison yard and getting beaten up again today, perhaps you would enjoy reading something new…

Please think about this and offer ideas of your own, Readers. Meanwhile, if your neighbor has a cat or is under house arrest…

What kind of computer is that cat using?

That’s a Mighty Cat, an Apple Macintosh Powerbook.

Hmm, I’ll have to look into that one. It appears to be far more advanced than the dated machinery provided to me by my benevolent employer.

Also, I like the fact that the cat is sticking out it’s tongue.

I hate cats… except Garfield ofcourse… and those maize crops are scary…

My cat isn’t so keen on your blog RB but he’s not a techno-cat really. He prefers good old ink and paper. It’s easier to shred :) )

I on the other hand, am shamefully addicted to Oddly Enough. There should be a support group for us.

E, there is one: we all take our meds regularly and discuss online about them… There’s Shra, LMR, Tim, me… welcome!

Glad to be on board…I think…!

Do we dump our pills in one big pile and share? Or is it each to their own?

:P

E, ignore Tim.. he doesnt know what he is talking about…
The sharing thing is really… complicated… well.. you see… it all depends on how long we have gone without our meds…
If it was just this morning, I would gladly share…
but otherwise… like I said… its complicated…
Unca Rastus, are you hitting on moi???
