Oddly Enough Blog
News, but not the serious kind
Mabel, Mabel, strong and able, your new skirt’s a coffee table!
Blog Guy, I need some advice on personal finances.
Like many people these days, money is tight.
I need new furniture for my apartment, but being a young single chick, I also like to dress well and keep up with the latest fashions. I can’t have both, so which way should I go?
You CAN have both, honey! A growing number of fashion houses are branching out into home furnishings, so you can enjoy your living room at home, and wear it when you go out.
Here are some photos to show what I mean, from Fashion Week in Brazil this week.
That’s fantastic, Blog Guy. Once again, the sensible folks who design fashion have put their customers’ needs first!
Yes, it’s win-win for everybody, in so many ways.
Now, a smooth-talking guy can say, “Hey Jill, that’s a great chest you have there, I’d like to see your drawers,” without getting a drink thrown in his face.
Unless Jill is wearing a bookcase, of course.

What a lovely lampshade…. what a shame the model doesnt seem to like to light up…
Is that how they serve tea and biscuits when dinig with the Queen?
Carrying around a coffee table must get tiring! Perhaps a hat with a pillow for a quick nap and a mini fridge for a midnight snack and more energy. Also, a crib around the middle for the maternity line.
It would be very handy for cocktail parties, though – you wouldn’t have to worry about finding a place to put your drink.
Unca… you let people steal from you?????
Perhaps she should wear a chair so that if she needs to sit down she can sit at her table.
She can sit on her own table…
I’ll bet the care label says, “Use Pledge Only”.
Bill. Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill… Nice one !
But wowza, has she got great legs!
Tim, I’m sure if you meditate for a while, after hovering for a while you’ll be able to picture in your head exactly where your keys are. NEvertheless, if they happen to be somewhere in Cabo San Lucas, along with some of your furniture, I think you’ll be better served by changing the locks.
How about under the Welcome mat? You do have a welcome mat dont you? (suspiciously raising one of her eyebrows)
