Welcome to a new installment of our popular feature, “Stuff Maybe We Should Have Explained in the Caption, but Didn’t.”
The caption on these photos tells us this singer named Anahi “performs” during a song festival in Chile.
You can’t fit everything into a caption, so we don’t bother to say why she’s slithering across the stage with butcher knives in her back.
Regular readers know the rules of this blog. If the facts aren’t there, I have to make them up.
I can tell you, Anahi is one very plucky young lady. She deserves to crawl away with the festival’s grand prize, unless of course this was the audience response to her Celine Dion medley.
I’d say whoever interrupted her performance to do this makes Kanye West at the MTV Awards seem like a Boy Scout by comparison.
And lastly, I should say thanks, Anahi, a stage revival of “West Side Story” has been needed for a long time. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give it up for the new Maria!

It was audience particitpation night where they got to give their review of her performance in any manner they thought appropriate.
I know nothing of Anahi and how she sings and of her talent, but I do believe she is wearing thigh highs so I am good with it.
