Oddly Enough Blog
News, but not the serious kind
I’d like to thank my strap that didn’t break

Blog Guy, last year you had several posts about a supposed new fashion trend in which portions of a woman’s anatomy had to be covered up with her own hand, if you take my meaning.
Did this ever catch on? Out here in Akron we haven’t seen too much of it since you wrote about it, but it’s time for the missus to get a new dress, and she was wondering should she go that route?
Yes, it is starting to catch on, especially among celebrities, so tell your wife to be an Akron trend-setter.
You may have seen that actress Katherine Heigl wore one at an awards ceremony in Las Vegas a couple of days ago. It was quite stunning.
No, I missed that. How did it work out for her?
I won’t lie to you, there were some problems. I don’t think she had counted on getting a major award and having to go up to the stage to accept it.
Gosh. And what was the other problem?
I’m pretty sure she didn’t know the award was so heavy it would take both hands to carry it back to her seat.

Hands. As annoying as those little white bars…
Wasnt Katherine a blond the last time we saw her?
But she is quite pretty… bet she caused a stir… when that strap broke… you shoulda seen the presenter’s look… couldnt believe his luck, I think…
I second that Dave.
More practical, but less interesting than the awful white bars.
Did you notice the smile/snicker in the model holding the award? She must have been green with envy!
She must be cursing her luck for not very a strappy dress… or a loose bustier….
And you just didn’t want to give THIS blog to me on weekend?? bad man :@
I sense the hand(s) of President Sarkosy involved in this one.
@unca: sorry
Awwww group hug!!!
E.
Count me in! I am always in for a hug!
Can we invite Ms. Heigl to the group hug, please?
These would be the best dresses, hands down
