Oddly Enough Blog
News, but not the serious kind
Is this the best job on earth, or what?
Blog Guy, it seems like mostly you write about jobs to avoid. How about some positive career advice? Aren’t there any GREAT jobs out there?
You bet, and here I’m talking especially to you men. Every major fashion show employs a Chest Checker, and if you can score one of these jobs, you’re set for life.
Chest Checker? What does he do?
He’s responsible for sticking his hand down every model’s dress to make sure everything is, you know, in order down there.
Are you serious? What qualifications would I need for a job like that?
You need very good hand/eye coordination, and you must test negative for poison ivy.
Holy crap! I can SO qualify! What kind of guys are they especially looking for?
Well, not humor bloggers, I can tell you that much for sure.

This pure se*ist behaviour! I protest!
It would be a great job if you had models that actually had boobs. From what we have seen from the various fashion shows, a lot of them do not. And I ain’t tawkin ’bout da boyz.
Now if I could be a “chest checker” for Miranda Kerr, I would have a niiiiiice long….. career.
@Ifly: I agree !
The one on the left has funbags but no wrists, whereas the one on the right has arms but no torso. Models. Odd.
those girls are ugly
Shra … maybe they have a shoe checker job for you!
@bdy2010… you are very polite for just saying they are ugly. I woulda gone with hideous.
Ha ha..funbags!
LOL at funbags
@Bday2010: You might want to take a loot at more ‘nice’ hair styles here:

Back in my theater days, we used to call them “fluffers” – the guys who always came around to make sure one was “fluffed-enough” in one’s costume. It was a self-proclaimed job.
Of course, most models don’t seem to have stuff enough to fluff…
@invisiliz… you do know that “fluffers” has an entirely different meaning in another realm of…theater.. also right?
@ifly – Ok, so NOT that kind of fluffer.
*color me red-faced*
Enough stuff to fluff is pure poetry.
CAM, if there are shoes that BG has been showing us, then NO, thenjewberrymooch…
