A shot in the dark?
Okay staff, I’m afraid tonight’s fashion show is going to be a disaster.
Our so-called “creations” are total horse poop. That’s what happens when Lamar lets his daughter and her gerbils design our entire spring line. No offense, Lamar.
None taken, Boss. We’ve got a plan to keep people from seeing this stuff.
First, I’ve got some of the boys over there already, shooting out the floodlights with BB guns. If there are a few lights left, the models will just walk where it’s dark.
That’s cool, Lamar! What else?
We’re putting up razor wire to keep those pesky photographers 300 yards from the runway. Good luck actually showing our crappy outfits from that distance.
But what if one of them has a zoom lens?
We’re covered, Boss. We’ve told the models to sprint down the runway, so the outfits will just be a distant blur.
Perfect, Lamar. With all those obstacles, I’m guessing the photographers will just leave without shooting anything. I mean, do you think ANYBODY would shoot under such awful conditions?
Only those wire service guys, Boss. They’re used to it.
