And the second-best museum is…

Blog Guy, I’m having an argument with my piano tuner’s haberdasher…
My main purpose in life is to settle arguments. What is it?
We were trying to decide on the second-best museum in the world, next to your Goofy Face Museum and Doughnut Shop, which we both agree is number one.
Anyways, is number two the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City, or the Louvre, in Paris?
Sorry, I’m not familiar with those. I’m sure they’re probably both okay.
WHAT? And you’re a travel writer? Then what would be your choice?
I’m very partial to the St. Bernard Dog Museum, in Martigny, Switzerland.
I love those sweet dogs and their little kegs of brandy. I almost always run into the pope when I’m there. Look, they just showed some new puppies yesterday.
You’re a dimwit! So all they have at this place is nice big dogs, cute puppies and lots of brandy?
Sure. What else would you look for in a museum? Or anywhere else, for that matter?

PUPPIES!!!! Can I keep ALL of them???
Ah so that’s where Snoop Dog got his nick from!
What flavor doughnut tastes best with a snifter of brandy?
If skiers get a patron saint and wonderful rescue dogs, do the OE bloggers get to have St. Bassler and rescued dogs?
Sorry, BG: St. Basler. Have not had coffee yet and it is hard to dodge the lightning bolts without any, let alone type correctly…
Onedoor, the doughnut flavor has to be Mexican, in recognition of the St. Bernard Salsa…what a strange flavor for brandy.
@Moonshine: Cornmeal doughnuts with St. Bernard Salsa!
The pope is blessing the brandy turning it into holy brandy. Those Saint Bernards are actually an elite force fighting against the rise of vampires.

But, but, but… You’re surely forgetting the Cumberland Pencil Museum?! And the Barbed Wire Museum in Texas?
Second Georgia’s comment…
Pupppiess!!!
Oh, and that brandy keg hanging as a collar is just precious… too darn precious…
I think the Pope is blessing the dog, rather than playing with it… or maybe beseeching the spirit of St.Bernard…
I have been reading too many sci-fi novels…
St. Bernard was …*EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL CENSORED*…
And that’s it basically, that’s why these fellows are called St. Bernards! I hope that was educational in a zap-free manner.
Keeper in photo 4 looks like she’s in danger of losing her jacket to the puppy.
Hmm … brandy-soaked doughnuts – with sprinkles!
Brrrandy soaked doughnuts would be soggy, Nosmo…
I say, use brandy instead of water while making the dough for the doughnuts… ummm… now that sure sounds good… and as always, Xanax sprinkles for moi…
No, brandy soaked doughnuts would be the far tastier relative of Rum Babas; thanks for that recipe tip Nosmo.
Rum Babas!!! I know those!! Weird shaped thingies tho, dontcha think, CG?
And a pain to make. I’ve never yet got the texture right. Maybe I should leave the rum alone until I’ve actually cooked them?
