News, but not the serious kind
Cutest bear on earth visits my blog
Blog Guy, have you ever done anything as a blogger that you’re really ashamed of?
Nothing that anybody can prove.
Okay, okay, I guess you’ve heard I hired Medo the Bear Cub to do cute stuff on my blog today. I mean, we’re heading into the summer lull and I need the traffic.
I’m not proud of it. I spent most of my promotional budget for the year, but it’s worth it.
For an extra $75 Medo will even hug a dog. I guess he’s as shameless as I am.
It’s a pretty sad day, Blog Guy, when a sarcastic, smart-ass humor blogger like yourself resorts to a tactic like this.
Jeez, isn’t there anything else you could do to attract a few more innocent readers doing Google searches?
I could say the dog belongs to Kate Middleton.
Now you’ve hit rock bottom, Blog Guy. Any other click-bait you want to add while there’s still time?
No, I’m off to search for Medo’s mother. She’s a Mama Grizzly….

BG, your viewership might be a bit off today since most of Europe has a holiday today – well, at least France and Germany.
Naah no hols for Brits so loving the cuddly bears
Not to worry, Spin. Fantasy photos are a different budget line.
Awwwwwww…. How totally cute! (But I hope he’s not just taste-testing for future reference, because pretty soon he’ll be a lot bigger – and meaner – than that doggie!)
BG, if you really want to pander, just talk about Medo’s shoe collection.
Or mention Medo does haiku.
It’s the start of the vampbearocalypse! Poor Logar family dog, didn’t even see it coming.
Medo doesnt have a shoe collection, skeres… I checked. Not even teddy shoes!
Anyone notice his expression in that last pic, he looks soooo totally wicked!! Like that! Cute’s out, wicked is IN!
Medo the vampire zomibe bear acquires another unsuspecting victim.
Is Medo a contraction for Medi-Doughnut? Trying to slip another plug in there, BG?
A haiku:
Vampire bears are in
The family dog takes the bite
Shameless plugs abound
You’ll notice that the poor dog is chained down. Brings to mind the goat in Jurassic Park.
Cute bear mouthing the cute dog’s ear. Kind of gumming it. In fact, Medo is really a gummy bear covered in pocket fuzz!
I’m with Ifly and Nosmo; that’s not a cutsie bear, that’s a “blood sucking fiend from beyond the grave”. Bonus points for anyone recognising the quotation…
@CrowGirl, was that from Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
@jclimacus, it’s all about the nom-nom’s! Om nom nom nom.
@Crowgirl – that’s either Joe Biden describing John McCain, or my lawyer describing my ex-wife after the first meeting.
Or possibly both?
Note to self: Never make friends with @Nosmo’s ex-wife.
Nosmo, sorry if I’m stirring up bad memories here, but how did the lawyer describe her after meeting number five?
Point is, did it even go to Meeting No.5?
(Sorry, I can hear Lou Bega singing Mambo No.5, as I am writing this)…
