News, but not the serious kind
I guess it must be Sunday again?
Lamar, come to my office for a minute.
What’s this big stack of goofy photos I found in the wastebasket?
That’s just overflow, Boss. You know, we bought ‘em for the blog but then the writers couldn’t come up with anything clever.
So it’s the fault of the writers?
Of course, Boss. Isn’t everything?
Lamar, we can’t afford this kind of waste! What have I told you to do with leftover goofy photos?
Oh. Use ‘em on Sundays, when nobody will see ‘em anyway?
Exactly, Lamar! And what day is today?
Then the next time I look at the blog, I want to see all of these. Even the one of Hillary Clinton. You remember what Ben Franklin said about waste, Lamar?
Yes, I believe he said, “Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”
Words of wisdom, Lamar. Words of wisdom…
