Taking a stand for a place to sit?
Blog Guy, nobody has better connections to the 2012 political campaigns than you do. I’ve heard that President Obama has chosen his official campaign slogan for the presidential race.
I presume it’s “Yes we can,” since that worked so well for him in 2008?
No, I understand his campaign is going a different direction this time around.
Don’t say where you got it, but the Reelect Obama slogan will be, “Please Seat Yourself.”
Huh? “Please Seat Yourself?” What does that even mean?
I guess it means, you know, Americans have been standing too long, waiting for others to get chairs for us, and now it’s time to find our own places to sit.
My sources say the Democrats have even printed the slogan on some trial placards for Obama’s approval.
Blog Guy, you’re such a dimwit. That’s just a pig in a chef’s uniform, holding a sign at a restaurant! Now, do you really know the new slogan, or not?
Um, “Employees MUST Wash Their Hands?”

When Obama was in North Carolina, did he say, “Happy Birthday, Elvis”? Apparently, that’s what candidates do when they’re in the Carolinas. In fact, that may be Obama’s campaign slogan.
It’s haiku time:
Sign: Please seat yourself
Sign: It’s the apocalypse
I prefer the first
I thought the campaign slogan was “Proudly defending the status quo long after the quo has lost its status”
who cares what the POTUS slogan is? I’m voting Baz/Lamar in 2012!!!

Wee Wee All way home.
Cried the presidential pork.
Jobs no barbeque.
I’m sorry, did you just say that O’Bama’s new slogan is ‘Yes – we spam’?
Which would explain all the unsolicited email heading for Ronald Basler, and the fact that he is seen in this picture at a pig-themed restaurant.
Maybe the POTUS should consider wearing high-heels for the upcoming campaign to look, you know, more manly?

I humbly offer another haiku:
Campaign slogan time
Maybe Obama’s should be
I’m not GOP
Just what this country
needs – more pork barrel spending.
Pass the barbeque!
That’s a worryingly tall pig…
Get a grip, Crow. It’s a pig STATUE….
That is a tall pig. I’m concerned about the giant pig egg in the background. I woundn’t want to be around when momma returns to sit on her nest.
@CrowGirl: Two feet good, four feet bad.
Bob’s Big Boy meets The Lord of the Flies
With all the SARCASM going on around here people seem to forget that at least he said please!
None of it matters though because Baz/Lamar 2012!
CG, you need a break from your pigs…
I thought you guys liked Obama? No??
I hadn’t noticed the pig egg. That’s quite wrong…
Shra, it’s funny you should mention that, I have both days off this weekend, and will be spending them underground, away from the pigs.
It’s very strange…POTUS spends two days in NC (where I live) and provides multiple opportunities for inane and outrageous commentary and my mind’s been a blank on this one. By the way, what was that big radar gun-looking thing going ’round and ’round on top of the bus when the Presidential Convoy passed by the Moonshine Family Farm?
Moonshine: Probably another Google Maps/Earth van collecting photos for StreetView.
Whew! Thanks, Malteser…. I was afraid it was some kind of mind-control memory eraser or something.
