And now, the Cute Clergy Show!

Posted by: Robert Basler

dalai-140.jpgMove over, Leno and Letterman! The entertainment world abuzz with news of a new late night comedy show  hosted by the lovable duo of the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who bubble over with infectious laughter.

Said one network insider, “If we can pull in the upscale Anglicans and the overseas Tibetans, what a demographic!” Sources say the producers are searching for the right band leader to complete the package.

Earlier efforts to pair the Dalai Lama with Barack Obama, for “Drama with Lama and Obama,” have been  shelved, but for next season, look for a variety show hosted by Tibet’s number two spiritual leader, the Panchen Lama, and actress Judi Dench. The working title? “The Panchen Judi Show.”

Open a refreshing, frosty can of…what?

Posted by: Robert Basler

Okay, folks, it wasn’t that tough an assignment. The photographer was supposed to get cute pictures of a famous kid, her dolly and a cola. But here we sit, on deadline, with umpteen magazine-quality portraits of the girl, the Dalai Lama, and a koala.

I just don’t know how the client is gonna take this. Let’s get those creative juices flowing and use Post a Comment to come up with some new campaign slogan ideas to save the day.
