Please please google- pakistan, textbooks, hindus. The regular school texts write history of their country as that after partition and demonize hindus living in small closed dark places and killing muslims on a daily basis. These are the books read by students since 1973 (remember Zia?) till today. Let first worry about state required school syllabus before going after the wahabi run madarassas.Thats (closing madrassas) a tall order.Aleitha ask your Pak friends about the school TEXTBOOKS not madarassa books. That explains the hatred in a 20 yr old Pakistni for India for whom India and Brazil should nt differ much.Indian school text books depict no such hatred against a religion or a country.Just like those in Canada or UK.

Keep good work. Cheers.-AzadThere was an very detailed article in the Daily Mail (UK) about the madrassa education system. Even though this newspaper is right wing, it does not deviate from presenting the facts. In the article the journalist pointed out the at the children do not just read the holy Koran, they learn the alphabet too:A is for AllahB is for Bundook (rifle/gun)C is for Cuffir…etc.Since 1979 have these madrassas been churning out boys to fight the Soviets and now they have turned their guns on to the USA who in turn have told Pakistan to eliminate them. If USA is enemy number one it has been in the making for a long time.

Rely upon yourself. You are big enough to do that. Follow India’s example. Follow China’s example. Stop thinking that your salvation lies with the USA, China, Saudi Arabia or others. The best person to help you is yourself and even if you have to go through pains of hell, the result is always uplifting because you did it yourself.

Their support to unholistic rulers, dictators like Musharraf, Zia etc . Their invasion of Iraq on the pretext of existence of weapons of mass destruction , support to dictators in Latin America to subserve their interest . Arming of Pakistan to keep India under check . These are some of their actions, which make US as world’s enemy no 1″–> I am getting a little irate about whiners bashing the U.S. as being #1 enemy. It is actually quite funny. The U.S. is the #1 fighter of terrorism, #1 at giving world aid, #1 at giving financial aid, #1 at technological development for the world and is generally viewed as the land of “dreams”, at least for those who are willing to work hard.If U.S. is so bad, why does everyone want to go there? Please cancel your VISA applications then. Pakistani’s, Indians, almost every nationality, especially from Arab countries want to get into the U.S. and become citizens. You can’t bash the U.S. and in the same breath want to be a part of it too.The U.S. is a beacon of democracy, success and moral standing for the world, despite the many transgressions by its numerous past presidents on other countries. People have to realize that those transgressions (Vietnam, Japan, Iraq…) were propagated generally without the consent or knowledge of the American people. The burden of helping and fixing the world always seems to lie on the shoulders of the Democracies, especially the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Australia, Germany. No other Religious based countries are willing to shoulder the burden, nor do they have the moral will to stop genocides, help with Tsunami relief, earthquakes or the Global Economic Meltdown.

If you and your Mujahideen bretheren could not sort yourselves out and then ask the US for assisstance to rebuild Afghanistan, then it is not the USA’s fault.Keep up with the begging while spitting venom at your major aid donor.

Lies told to secure the political future of the Army punjabistan elite, lies told to build national unity through forced institutional hatred of India and a good religion(islam) dragged through the mud, to justify all types of horrible acts.Mr. Paracha is but one sane individual in Pakistan, amongst a nation of which most belong to an mentally insane asylum, especially the educated ones. When I saw clips of Mr. Paracha, I see glimmers of hope for Pakistan to reform. Unfortunately before that happends, there will be a civil war of some kind, that is the haves(men in army uniforms) versus the have nots(the poor) in Pakistan.Unfortunately the bloggers here, have not given one ayota or an inch of the ability to question the validity of their history and what they have been taught.
