What is to done?

Show mercy to all living entities specially humans. Shakespeare said in his play merchant of Venice "The quality of mercy is not strained, it blesses one who gives and one who receives. In the name of Islam do no injustice. Take the name of God just as a baby cries for its mother. And continue doing all the necessary work to help the distressed and see how the lord reciprocates.
These are age old principles. As Gandhi said I have nothing new to teach the world Truth and non violence are as old as the hills.

All in all there seems to be total chaos...and mixed feelings...pakistanis have no one to blame but themselves for not having enough preparedness for disasters like these.

There seems to be contradictions in the theme of your post. Are Pakistanis helping each other through this terrible crisis or hurting each other? You can’t seem to make up your mind. Even pertaining to the average Pakastani civilian, you portray feelings of resolve but also feelings of resentment and predation.

As an aside, after the latest series of bombings from the Pakistani Taliban, how can any civilian still sympathize with them, charity or no?
