Comments on: Pakistan and Mullah Omar: who knows where he is? Perspectives on Pakistan Thu, 01 Oct 2015 19:31:05 +0000 hourly 1 By: DaraIndia Tue, 25 Jan 2011 06:48:20 +0000 Forget Headley, forget Wikkileaks, forget the US court summons, forget all the telephone transcripts provided to Pakistan. Forget Afghan accusations. Indians of course will always lie about the ISI, so don’t even think about them.

Nothing is confirmed. No one has confessed. Everything is overstated. ISI influence is limited. No one has spotted a one eyed man in Quetta or Karachi, so he is not there.

ISI is pure as the driven snow.

Once they are gone, their organizations will wither away for lack of leadership. Protecting them at all costs indicates a desperation to keep these factions alive for future militant activities.

One should be very skeptical about the “limitations” of ISI when it comes to protecting Mullah Omar.

Both Mullah Omar and the big one OBL must be getting some type of medical care with clandestine support from ISI and Pak army. All this can be delegated with several layers of protection and deniability.
