Hot stuff…! One in the eye for Marshall McLuhann who always said “(Media) Art is anything you can get away with!” On the other hand, youve provided a dramatic way for Reuters to show that the medium can indeed become the message.

A bugger of a problem! One we can empathise with having had similar incident in North Borneo. Not with a Renault but a LandRover diesel running on biofuel. Pity you’ll have given “fuel” for comment from the BBC’s Jeremy Clarkson. Pity, too, about the Canon glass. Nikons don’t fare any better. Bloody good to know Reuters weren’t ‘rooted’ this time.

Hi guys, I’m glad nobody was hurt during the accident. I understand the importance of 1st hand news but safety is always the most important!!!

But I can also feel the pain when I saw all those lenses burning….

Wow! An interesting way to get rid of a curse. What a tale to tell for years over drinks, I doubt that you can be topped.

I am torn ‘tween laughing and going “oh sh##!” Having had similar close calls, I know the chaos and fear. I am greatly relieved that you guys made it safely.

I think we all owe you guys a round of drinks!!!
Enjoy, keep up the stellar work. Maybe that used Pinto is safer after all…
