There will always be bad people who want to hurt others, But there will always be good people in this world who pull together to try to do some good. and to those people i say keep up the good work we will prevail some day. About the pics well there very impressive, and they do capture the true side of People, i.e Those who want to Hurt and then the other people who flock together to try and Help, and finaly theose people who gather to prosper for others pain. Many type´s of people but only 1 kind of love..

Kieran,
You brought back some great memories. I remember when you first walked into the Reuters office in London and all of the pictures that posted here were part of my earliest memories working on the picture desk.
Thanks for the memories and best to all.

I agree with IonBuck that the sentences are very expressive. The whole blog entry highlights the earlier one Kieran Doherty made about how it takes more than a camera to make a photographer, and how a good news photograph is something more than just the information it conveys.

Wow, those first images are so incredibly haunting. They prove that without these kind of news photographers, we just wouldn't capture moments which, like you say, are over in the blink of an eye.

Great blog entry.

Your sentences "These are not the pretty, beautifully lit and exquisitely framed photographs that we see in abundance on the wires now. These are the no frills, raw, rough edged, grainy, sometimes badly lit, soft or slightly over exposed images that deliver on all counts." hit me smack on the head!

Great account of news photography. :D
