G.H.Bush's grandfather and father were charged with aiding and abetting the enemy by the U.S. Government during WWI and WWII respectively(supplying arms, money laundering, etc...). The Kennedy's have their problems with Joe Sr.. Considering the number of wealthy families that have ascended the seats of U.S. power, I ask myself have we replaced a monarchy with an oligarchy?

"Class" is certainly the defining term to use when discussing the Bush family; more accurately, "class conflict". George H. W. Bush is archetypal of the old-moneyed interests that are constantly looking for new ways to concentrate more of this nation's wealth (which is admittedly dwindling in value) into their own hands. Do you really trust a man who went half of his adult life without knowing what a barcode is to have the interests of the middle class and the poor in mind?
