It was a joyous day for me and other supporters of this accomplished but beleaguered Frenchman who is a man of such charm and indomitable courage. There was jubilance in the air that day and it was electrifying. I would like Mr. Strauss-Kahn to know that he has many admirers here in the U.S. I salute him and wish him and his wife many years of joy and happiness.
