Many have been called but few chosen to actually take up the mantel and follow in the footsteps of Che Guevara. Welcome back Lori and be thankful some paramilitary zealot did not cancel your ticket.

I want to understand why Lori Berenson supported violence, the same way I want to understand why my father was killed by a member of the Peruvian military without any excuse, whatsoever. I want to forgive, and I’d like to ask Peruvians to forgive you as well.

It is time for all of us to move on, but most importantly it is time for Peruvians to find TRUE justice and to build a fair nation for all, to ultimately guarantee a permanent peace for the future generations without the cruel violence that we all lived through. Welcome back Lori Berenson.
