Did not nature take care of the overpopulation of anything then? It really hurts to know that each one of these dogs has a personality and love and kindness to give. But what of those people from overpopulated countries that are just left to die on the street. Dogs are certainly equal to all the other animals on earth, so it must be my emotions that are out of whack?

Where Do we begin. Does anyone know? Often, I want to do something about a situation, at least try. I don’t have much money and I live far from there. But, I want to do something if I can. Where does someone like me start? Please help! Thank you.

It’s time for us to realise that our actions have devastating consequences not only for us but also for innocent and helpless animals. Thank you for the story and the pictures

Why? Because they aren’t used to people treating them kindly and will follow you around to the point where you have to lose them. There are few Amores Perros anywhere on the calles of Mexico, and this story is even more saddening. Agree that any animal rights organizations should be focusing on the situation in Juarez.

Man’s daily inhumanity to man and the violence we inflict on the creatures of this earth that we are tasked with protecting, indicates to me that mankind has barely developed beyond the level of pond- scum.
