Powell River has an airport and you can fly in from various locations. A flight from Vancouver is about 30 minutes. There is also a ferry from Comox on Vancouver Island, four times a day.

Enjoyed chatting with you while you were living the days of our wonderful theatre. Hope you enjoyed all the craziness of the 100th Birthday celebration. Come back soon.

It is truly amazing what happens when you scratch the surface and look at the history of a community.

You really captured the entire life of this theatre.

Sidenote: I was the friend who Andy mention in the above piece and I went to Powell River to shoot the townsite for the Wikimedia Loves Monuments project with my other photog buddy Joel. You can read about our adventure here: http://robertdall.com/2013/10/18/read-th e-plaque/
