Comments on: Chris Christie, the Republican Bill Clinton Wed, 30 Jul 2014 19:10:25 +0000 hourly 1 By: bake1938 Thu, 16 May 2013 23:32:42 +0000 As a conservative Republican, I would love to see Christie run. He is smart enough to know that compromise is how things get done. You work toward your principles, get something done. I will vote for him in the primaries and in the general election.

This art is atypical.

Now the GOP’s going to take the WH in 16 but with guys like this we’d have McConnell in charge. I like Christie too, and yes it’s amazing some conservatives actually understand compromise. Unfortunately, in order to make a living many otherwise intelligent people prop up the lies of an echochamber like the Foxbot simply because it’s their job.

This guy’s not too far off the mark most of the time but I do like the use of appetite at the end of his intro paragraph.

I’m a Democrat, but I like Christie, and Mr. Salam is correct; if Christie runs for President in the next election, I’ll listen to what he has to say, because, at least for now, he seems to understand that compromise is important to successful governing.

That said, I wish people would stop making references to his weight. We all know he’s heavy.
