Some small trucks might also benefit if we can build up a Natural gas station network. For most people the electric car is still the best idea. The last thing I want to see is more natural gas power plants because that's actually a waste of the fuel and a short sighted use since we should only be building Wind, solar, and nuclear power plants from now on. Even if you don't believe in global warming natural gas wont last forever and it has more uses in the laboratory than as a fuel. However, you can convert natural gas into hydrogen (the hydro in hydrocarbon is hydrogen) and hydrogen could be used as a pollution free fuel. This could be the spark the fuel cell industry needs.
