GS is obviously feeding Tourre to the wolves, hoping to appease their thirst for blood.

However, I can’t help but notice that this complaint avoids mentioning any other employee of GS by name; those multiple personages involved in conducting these transactions are just referred to generically as GS.

We need to use Tourre’s investigation to discover the identity and culpability of every single person who profited at the misfortune they bestowed upon American citizens, so they can be publicly punished and thoroughly chastised.

Our system of laws should deliver justice to American citizens and severe retribution to those who have earned it.

Hopefully others are not as daring as GS.

I am not conversant with many of these terms, but something smells in the house of Goldman. We need to clean out this stench and introduce more transparency to these transactions that affect so many people, most of whom have no idea of what is going on. Increased regulation of financial institutions is justified and even required. IMHO, a fine of 10 billion dollars might be about right. The government could use this in Afghanistan, or maybe in domestic social programs such as promotion of Universal Health Care.
