Lacking romance in your life? Look to the mice for advice.

Male mice sing “love songs” to woo female mates, according to new research. The sounds they make are not unlike the courtship songs that birds sing. Researcher Erich Jarvis told Reuters, “I think the mice are saying with the complex songs, ‘Pay attention to me, I’m here, come to me, and see how my complex song sounds great.'” Maybe lead with that in your Tinder bio.

Move over, G.I. Joe.

A Brooklyn couple has raised $15,000 to begin production on a Hillary Clinton action figure, Reuters reports. The action figure – dressed in a pantsuit, naturally – is intended as a show of support for the would-be presidential candidate. No word on whether she has any super powers.

Who let the dogs out? The U.S. Park Service, potentially.

The federal agency may soon employ dogs – border collies, to be specific – to chase off and ultimately reduce the Canada goose population at popular Washington, D.C., landmarks, according to Reuters. It’s not that Canadian geese are unpatriotic per se (though the irony is rich); the birds drop up to three pounds of feces each per day, presenting undeniable problems. The goose poop is reportedly damaging the pumps and filters in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and generally fowling up the Washington Monument grounds in the nation’s capital.
