hello,

my name is lizzie godfrey and i'm a photography student in lancashire. for an assignment we've been asked to research thoroughly into a desired area of photographic industry. which, for me, is photojournalism. I am looking to find out everything about this industry - what sort of equipment do you use in order to be able to process the images ready for the web quickly and efficiently? do you work freelance or does reuters here pay you a monthly wage? if freelance, how do you drum up your own business? if you hear of an event, do you just fly over to where it is in the hope that somebody will buy your images or is it less whimsical than that?

any information of any sort would be very much appreciated!

thanks,

lizzie
