One comment about the economic stimulus rebates that NO ONE highlighted. The rebates are attached to your ssn number no matter whether you are single or married. When the media announced that married people filing joint returns would receive $1200 dollars, NO ONE explained that it would be assigned by Social Security Number. So the husband and wife would receive $600 dollars each according to their last 4 digits of their SSN. Which could be weeks apart. No wonder the IRS was behind the eight ball here and no wonder it is costing the tax payers more money to do this. Talk about an administration that is so behind the times!

many people are going to be disappointed because most people are not getting back the amount they are expecting and some people who were sent out a flyer (the $43,000.0000 mailing of notices to notify taxpayer of impending rebate)are not even getting a rebate check.as far as the checks going out early, that was also misleading.most people are not getting them early.until todat I did not know of anyone who hd received their check.I finally talked to one person today that recieved his check. This was a very misleading and overhyped plan by the government.
