Out of all the possible corporate sponsors, I feel like Walmart would be the worst for a company's brand..

Dr. Tantillo ('the marketing doctor), who has a marketing blog , did a post a while back on Dupri's
new label wit P&G and how it could be a boon for the company but but also a potential liability:
a potential liability.

And this week he posted on Target..it's new advertising campaign and how it's trying to compete with Walmart, et. al...

Tantillo's full post

What else is the gruesome, own-employee neglecting giant placing their paws and claws on next? Isn't it bad enough they are destroying small businesses? Now they want to dominate the sale of an individual band's record so they can get you into a store and sell you more product while you are there. It's really all about greed....not smart business.

Wow...you people are morons. They aren't "selling out." If you've noticed the record industry is just about dead and gone because you all go to itunes to pick and choose rather than buying CD's. What else is a band supossed to do. If any thing they did a great thing for other younger bands. It's a new way to garantee Record sales and actually make real money. even if no one buuys the CD's from the shelves of Walmart...AC/DC still starts off with having 4 million albums sold.

I'm curious if you have ever purchased anything at the "cheap undercutting Arkansas retailer"? I believe they are the epitomy of American capitalism. I would guess you make purhases with price in mind. Hmmm.

I am soooo sorry to see ACDC sell out to WalMart. Makes my blood boil to think that one of the greatest bands ever have cheapened themselves to an exclusive deal with the cheap undercutting Arkansas retailer.
