We’ve a feckless manager so it wouldn’t surprise me if he brings Beckham back but lets face it, it ’s hardly a progressive move. I’d mush rather see Bentley in the squad.
I guess from his point of view it will reduce the number of column inches discussing his fecklessness.

Can Beckhman play for England instead of England playing for Beckham? I’d have thought he’d be a good short-term option, as long as he knows he’s just going to be used to come of the bench when opposition tiring, to send over a few crosses.
