You have to pay for each trip as you go along. The buses themselves are quite comfortable but the roads often leave much to be desired. I think it's condescending on Brazil to think that they can't take a bit of criticism. Isn't Brazil big enough to stand up for itself? Or are foreign correspondents simply supposed to reproduce propaganda for the local football federation/government? And, by the way, the Brazilian media does plenty of hemming and hawing when it has to go and cover events in smaller nations (the Copa America in Venezuela, the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic etc etc). I'm tired of hearing all of the hemming and hawing about countries like South Africa (2010) and Brazil (2014) not being up to snuff. It smacks of Western condescension. Put the funds and resources into South Africa and Brazil, and they will both host amazing World Cups!!
