This is great news, it means we’re stuck with him for another 15 games, or 22 if it includes the 2010 world cup finals. or is it 20?
DB has provided sterling service over the years but I don’t think too many opposing defences fear him any more. However, as previous reply said, David Bentley is no Cristiano Ronaldo.

I couldnt help wondering as he wandered off that it might be the last time….then his replacement Bentley went and played poorly.
It is amazing how many English players forget how good they are when they put on the Three lions shirt. Bentley has been skinning defenders all season and yet against France he was very nervous and just crossed without finding space or looking up. The stress of international football does strange things…just remember Beckham’s two ballooned penalties
