Arsenal’s comeback to win 3-2 at Bolton was special, but Manchester United’s 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa on Saturday was simply sublime. Cristiano Ronaldo’s amazing flick for the first goal summed it all up.
But how good are this United side? Is the Premier League already in the bag and should AS Roma be expecting another 7-1 Champions League mauling on Tuesday?
Here Deputy Sports Editor Jon Bramley talks to vlogmeister Owen Wyatt about Arsenal, United and the Premier League run-in. We’d like your views in the comments below or you can send us your own vlog via youtube or wherever. Tag it ‘Vlog on the pitch’ and if we like it, we’ll put it up here.

Are United the new Brasil? Yes, but better. The 07-08 United team represent one of the most explosive teams of all time. Watching them, one is reminded of the Ajax teams of the 70’s and the Magnificent Magyars of the 50’s. They combine tough defending with a tenacious contstantly attacking forward line.
- Posted by ted kempfUnited’s approach is more mature this season. Ferguson and Quieroz have seemlessly combine a continental style with the traditional forceful British attitude. Yet, it is the additions of Anderson and Tevez that have given United that extra cutting edge. The value of South American flare and tenacity should not be underestimated. What is more, the staff at United have convinced Ronaldo that he no longer needs to dive. We are seeing him carry on through tackles and score or assist scores in positions where he has given up in the past and taken dives to bail himself out.
- Posted by ted kempfWhat is more dangerous about United is that there is no telling where the goals will come from. Ronaldo has been the hero of the moment many a time this year, but Tevez has contributed important winners and Rooney has come good with his share of goals. United play football the way it was meant to be played. Utilising four attacking players, and scoring more goals than any other team they also defend better than any other team. If United are to win the Premier League and the Champions League Ronaldo will break the 40 goal barrier. This is quite special whenever it occurs, but when it occurs in the most difficult league in the world it is something to be applauded/

- Posted by makotoI completely agree with Jon’s shrewd assessment of the title run in. I think one only needs to look back to 1998 when Mark Overmars stunned United at Old Trafford. That year the Gunners late flourish saw them crowned Champions perhaps this year it will be Chelsea?
Great stuff guys keep it up!

Ronaldo has been a hero scoring goals in almost all matches, setting up other scorers like Rooney, Tevez and others. His stylish techniques of playing and handling the ball is just beyond description…Bravo my freind, you got the world to applaud your name when you lift the trophy in the few weeks to come,
Keep up the fight, play to the best and aim for glory…..Sky is the limit!!!!!!!!!

I’m with Vincent. Wild, wild exageration from the Brits. Manchester United = good team, nothing more, nothing less.
