I remember something similar happened to the Czech Republic players after Euro 96. Everyone was surprised and impressed by them and 3 or 4 players were snapped up by PL clubs.

I hope this doesn’t happen again because:
1. Playing well in a unique environment like an international finals doesn’t mean that they are going to adapt to the PL
2. It’s a damning indictment of a club’s scouting network if they think it’s better to sign a player after a tournament than before.
