Thanks for your comments guys. I agree with you both on this. I think that any manager would struggle to pull things together having watched his best players leave without replacements lined up. I also saw the interview with Alan Sugar on the BBC and what stood out for me was the section when he talked about how Jol was putting thing in place to allow Spurs to develop into a top side players like Berbatov and Keane were key to this. Now they have gone and been replaced with the likes of Dos Santos who is by no means ready to do the business in the Premier League.

Anyway thanks for the comments!

As a Spurs Long suffering fan,man and boy,I have become so disolusioned.I for one agree with Alan Suger that we have become the top fours reserve team. If we get a good player woosh he,s gone. The premier league might just as well consist of 4 maybe 5 clubs. As far as i am concerned the game is being ruined by greed their is no loyalty any more,I must speak for the fans who pay good money week after week who support their clubs knowing they havent got a chance of winning anything. We all live in hope.

Above all else, the clubs summer transfer activity is at the root cause of almost everything that is going wrong right now. Ramos made it clear over the summer, on a number of occasions, that he was more concerned about having a settled to squad to prepare for pre season than he was about bringing in star players. Its impossible to know who was responsible for the absolutely mind boggling logic in selling the best strikeforce in the Premiership without having lined up replacements, deciding to sell key experienced Premiership performers - Malbranque, Tainio etc - and replacinh them with inexperienced trophy signings and going out and lumping 17 million on players in positions that didnt need filling - as they do every summer - when there remains a gaping hole in midfield where an experienced, commanding holding player shoul be. Ramos has made mistakes, grante, but I defy anyone to have succeeded under these circumstances.
