To be fair, as long as the results are in our favour, it doesn't matter what formation (or 'revolution) we use.

Hi Louis. Funnily enough, I think Bayern finally started to look like a Klinsmann team in their first game after I wrote this. Against Fiorentina they were confident, creative and tenacious in attac, and made hair-raising mistakes in midfield. It was like watching Klinsmann's Germany against Costa Rica in the World Cup!

The strange thing is seeing Klinsmann and Hoeness hugging each other like a pair of drunk fans in the pub whenever Bayern score. It's 2-0 v Fiorentina at the moment and they can't keep their hands off one another.

Sorry for going off topic but this regarding the Carlos Tevez contract issue...

Forget about the asking price but I do believe that Fergie should give Tevez more playing time rather than keeping him warm on the bench. When he first came last season he did look a bit rusty but look what happen later?

Ronaldo may have scored 30 plus goals but Tevez scored some critical goal (last minute ones against Spurs and Blackburn) that allowed United to capture the Premiership and Champions League.

I have just posted an article related to this story by stating my point of view on this whole matter. I would appreciate if you check it out and perhaps leave your thoughts/opinions on the comment box.

Hoeness used to sit next to the General and planned to no longer sit there until Klinsmann asked him to (this is according to an interview I read with Hoeness).

Personally I don't see how changing the formation represents a revolution, and going to 4-4-2 represents the old ways.

I recall Gus Hiddink (from yet another interview I read) say something along the lines of formation does not matter, it is more how the players play. From this statement it would appear that the General (Hitzfeld) had a better understanding of modern play, particularly with how he positioned Ze Roberto and Van Bommel as opposed to the perhaps micro-managed line-ups that Klinsmann has been thus far.

I never realised before that general manager Uli Hoeness sat on the bench with Klinsmann until I saw the highlights this weekend. How weird for Klinsi to have what is effectively his boss sat next to him. It must cramp his style a bit. What does Hoeness think it achieves?
