Yes, Liverpool are mounting a strong challenge, but come the end of the season they’ll still end up behind Chelsea and United. They showed last week that they don’t have that killer instinct to finish teams off as they went down to Tottenham late on, and if you want to win the league you can’t lose to teams who are bottom of it. Also Liverpool’s squad is no where near as strong as United or Chelsea’s, yes they’ve got Torres, Gerrard, Alonson Riera, but past that there isn’t much depth. And as for Carragher being a rock I have to disagree, he’s lost a bit of form and has made some big mistakes this season. This is without doubt Liverpool’s best chance of winning the league, but I just can’t see them toppling United or Chelsea over the season.
